Sign up details:

Practically, these are the sign up steps:
1. Fill out the membership form and send it in with your payment. This can be done electronically (pay with PayPal and email the membership form) or my mail with a check.
2. You will receive an email four times per year telling you that
your next "delivery" of songs is available for pick up, and giving you the user name and password for that delivery.
3. You click on the link to visit Jonathan's CSM site and log in with your user name and password to access the "Members Only" page where the delivery is posted.
4. Download the files to your computer, copy them to your mp3 player or make your own print and CD copy of the songs and listen! (Paper/CD copies are also available directly from Jonathan's CSM for an additional fee.)

What kinds of memberships are available?
1. Individual/household membership: Annual minimum donation: $30 If you are a single person, or a family, or a group of people living together under one roof as a household, this type of membership is for you.

2. Organizational membership: Annual minimum donation: $100 If you are a band, a church, school, camp, or other organization, then this type of membership is for you. In addition to the regular "deliveries" of songs and accompanying resources, congregational/institutional membership includes permission for your organization to copy and make ongoing use of the songs in each delivery (see "note on permissions" below).

3. Patron membership: Annual minimum donation $500
This is for people who want to support the arts by investing in an
emerging artist.

4. Publisher/International organization/denominational membership: A third type of membership is available for other, larger entities (eg: denominational bodies, publishers, larger companies, etc.) who may be interested. Please email jonathan@communitysupportedart.com to initiate a conversation about this type of membership. Please include a description of the entity and the ways in which you are interested in using the songs.

How Can I be Involved?
Membership in Jonathan's CSM means you are supporting original art and Jonathan's development as and artist. You are also joining a community and getting the chance to be an active participant and partner in the process of creating, testing, and sharing new music.

Members are invited to:
• Use and enjoy the songs in different settings (see types of
membership and notes on "Permissions" above).
• Share feedback and ideas ("This song helped me realize this
important thing about my life... We used this song for... this one
really didn't do much of anything... the chorus of that one stays in
my head... I think you should record that one with a full band...
maybe you should forget about that third verse.").
• Give ideas/suggestions for new songs ("I wish someone would write a song about..."Our group is exploring this theme, and could use a song that would help us...").
• Pass your favorite songs on to friends, coworkers, or other
artists and let people who may be interested know about the music, the CSM, etc.
• Support Jonathan and the CSM in other ways - write a story or
anecdote about how the music has connected with you, write a review of a JRL or Sonchild record, get in touch to set up a house concert, songwriting seminar or larger concert in your community, pray for Jonathan, and/or ask about current needs, sponsorship possibilities, and other ways to be involved.
